A Delta Conyne kite is a combination of a delta kite and a box kite. It provides the lifting power of a delta with the stability of a box kite. The kite was first designed by an American called Silas Conyne in 1902. This hydrid design allows Delta Conynes to be very stable in flight and gives them excellent lifting capability. The design also inspired what has come to be known as the French Military kite. Delta Conynes were originally developed as lifting platforms for scientific and military work. This kite is very easy to assemble and launch.
